Beechwood Lecture Series: Insects in the Garden: Friend, Foe, or Escargot?

July 21, 2015 @ 10:30 am - 12:00 pm

- Free

Pam Gilpin, a self-taught gardener for 25 years, will share her observations and insights about insects in her garden. Learn how to determine if your insects are ‘friends or foe’ and how to manage them without spraying.

Pam serves on the board of the Newport Tree Society and is a former member of the Newport Tree Commission.

The Beechwood Lecture Series is a joint effort of the URI Master Gardeners Association and the RI Wild Plant Society. Master Gardeners receive education credits for attending.

If interested in attending, please contact Melanie Gillis, Assistant Director, Senior & Human Services, Beechwood Center for Life Enrichment at MGillis@northkingstown.org or 401-268-1596.
