This program is the second of two, specifically designed for the volunteers at our plant sales. This class is a valuable learning opportunity for our volunteers to pass onto the public. Volunteers will learn how about the ecological and aesthetic value of ferns, grasses and shrubs. Given the inventory for the sale as of May 15, the focus will be on the shrubs that will be available at our June sale.
Garry Plunkett, our presenter, is a veteran RIWPS member who has led numbers walks and workshops for RIWPS and other organizations. He has a life long interest in natural ecosystems, holds a certificate in Field Botany from the New England Wildflower Society.
