Join RIWPS veteran members, Tysh McGrail and Graham Gardner to explore a segment of Rhode Island Audubon’s 860 acre George B. Parker Woodland Wildlife Refuge.  The refuge offers a rich plant community amid majestic old forests, brooks, fields and mysterious rock cairns.

Driving Directions:
1670 Maple Valley Road, Coventry, RI
From Providence, take Route I-95 south to Route 102 north (exit 5B). Follow Route 102 north for about 10 miles. Turn right (east) onto Maple Valley Road (across 102 on the left is Waterman Hill Road). Turn into second driveway on the left by the Parker Woodland Wildlife Refuge sign. We will meet in the parking lot.

This walk is a part of our First Thursday Botanizing Walk Series.  See First Thursday Botanizing Walk home page for important details about these walks.
