January Social & Luncheon Potluck Style
Several members will share their experiences and photos with native plants and you too are encouraged to share as well.
Garry Plunkett will talk about the transformation of Barbara Chapman’s Ocean Drive (Newport) property from an invasive landscape to a more supportive habitat filled with natives; Doug McGrady will share some of his favorite plant photos; David Vissoe will take you through the recent work at the native plant garden project at the US Fish and Wildlife Service’s Kettle Pond Visitor Center (Charlestown)…
This is a great opportunity to mingle with your fellow native plant enthusiasts and meet the volunteers who run our Walks & Workshops, Seed Starter groups, Plant Sales, etc!
Contact office@RIWPS.org if you would be interested in sharing your endeavors/encounters with native plants.
• There is ample on street parking around Aldrich House.
