Live Webinar: Why are Some Plants Rare?

August 29 @ 6:30 pm - 7:30 pm

We see many sugar maples and Canada-mayflowers throughout New England, but relatively few Lapland rosebays or Wright’s spikesedges. Laney Widener, Botanical Coordator, NEWFS, will examine the primary reasons certain plant species become rare in the landscape, both in New England and beyond.

This program is a part of New England Wildflower Society’s Spring – Summer Live Webinar Offerings. Through our partnership with them, we are able to offer these programs to our members for $10.00, the same fee charged for NEWFS members.  The non member fee is $13.00.  See Live Webinars for a listing of upcoming webinars.

Note:  If you are involved in a FB/Adv. FB certification program it takes three live webinars to earn one elective for these programs.

Registration You will be sent to NEWFS registration page.
