Live webinar: MEADOW GARDENS BEYOND SUMMER

June 4 @ 6:00 pm - 7:00 pm

With warm-season grasses and late-blooming wildflowers, meadows come into their own predominantly in the late summer and autumn months. But how can we create appeal for these open landscapes in March through June? Using the Old Meadow at Garden in the Woods as launching point, staff Horticulturalist Anna Fialkoff focuses on what to emphasize during a meadow’s “off season,” such as using ephemerals out of the woodland context, designing legible layers in the landscape, and drawing the eye to shrubs at the meadows edge.

The program is a part of Native Plant Trust’s (New England Wildflower Society’s) Live Webinar Offerings. Through our partnership with them, we are able to offer these programs to our members for $10.00, the same fee charged for NPT (NEWFS) members.  The non member fee is $13.00.  See Live Webinars for a listing of upcoming webinars.

Registration You will be sent to NPT (NEWFS) registration page.

Note:  If you are involved in a HD/Adv.HD certification program it takes three live webinars to earn one elective for these programs.
