Add native plants to your landscape to preserve and protect them, and to sustain the native pollinators and other wildlife that depend on them.

Our 2019 Sales

May 11 | 9 am – 3 pm | Casey Farm, Saunderstown, RI

June 8 | 9 am – 1 pm | URI East Farm, Kingston, RI

August 24 | 9 am – 12 pm | Pawtuxet Village Farmer’s Market, Cranston, RI

*please note: We only have plants available at our designated sales as we do not have sufficient space or volunteers to be able to offer them at other times.

Our plants come primarily through our Seed Starters Groups and from plants grown and donated by members and friends*. We specialize in Rhode Island native plants, including Rhody Native™ but also have New England natives and some from Eastern North America.

Proceeds support the work of Rhode Island Wild Plant Society.

Lots of opportunities available! Not all tasks require knowledge about plants. For the June sale, volunteers are needed to help set up the day before and on the day of the sale. Contact us to find out how you can be helpful. Contact

We are looking for a wide variety of native plants. Some examples of those that are easy to dig and share are ferns, bloodroot, wild columbine, wild ginger, wild geranium, dolls eyes, black cohosh, phlox, Joe Pye weed, asters, Tiarella.  For more ideas check out the list of plants in the section below on the June sale.

Questions about whether your plants are native or not? Call Sandra Thompson at 401-667-0732 or contact

It is best to dig plants when they are just coming up.  If you need help digging, please let us know that, too.
