In addition to RIWPS caps and our coloring books, A Walk Through the Seasons with Rhode Island Wild Plants, we will be offering clamshell winter seed sowing kits. Each kit is a clamshell container with holes poked into the top and bottom, filled with a seed starter medium and a packet of seeds with planting directions and labels. We will have 20 available for a cost of $5.00 each. There will be five kits of one of four different types of seed: butterfly milkweed (Asclepias tuberosa), swamp milkweed (Asclepias incarnata), foxglove beardtongue (Penstemon digitalis), and cardinal flower (Lobelia cardinalis). flower).
