Learn or review how to ID plants using field guides (Newcombs or Ellman) and the online resource, Go Botany. We will start in the classroom to learn how to use a key to identify plants reviewing plant terminology and plant characteristics in the process. From there, we will apply those skills using Go Botany to identify plants. Then we’ll take a short hike to try out our new skills. Our instructor Leslie Dulthie is a horticulturist and plant propagator at Norcross Wildlife Sanctuary.
