Epigaea repens (trailing-arbutus), DMCGrady

Enjoy a rite of spring  on a short hike to see the early blooming trailing-arbutus (Epigaea repens) in the Arcadia Management area. It has been thriving for years in this same spot on a gravelly roadside bank just off the Mt. Tom Trail. We may see other early wildflowers beginning to bloom along the nearby Parris Brook.  Rain date: May 1 from 10 am – noon.
