SUMMARY:2024 Annual Meeting & Presentations
DESCRIPTION:RIWPS annual meeting will take place from 1:00 to 3:00 pm at the Fellowship Hall of the Kingston Congregational Church\, 2610 Kingstown Road Kingston\, RI on Saturday\, March 23\, 2024.  Enjoy refreshments and fellowship followed from 1:00 to 1:30 followed by the business meeting and presentations.  The business meeting includes the annual report\, elections for Board of Trustees and celebration of our volunteer award recipients. Dick Fisher will receive the Lifetime Service Volunteer Award and Kate Rakosky the Volunteer of the Year Award.  \nSo Many Ways to Go Wild with Native Plants\nBe inspired by a sample of different ways that we are currently supporting native plants and their habitats. Learn about the Seed Starters efforts to find a new home. Consider the progress and challenges of ReSeeding RI\, our multi-year journey to increase the supply of first-generation ecotypic seeds and plants sourced from native wild plant populations.  Discover the positive reverberating impact of four recent annual grants.  We will also be announcing the recipients of this year’s grants.  Ask questions\, add ideas! \nComplete the form below if you will be attending.
