The first plant species in our pipeline to “ReSeed” Rhode Island!
Our ambitious, multi-year initiative ReSeeding RI aims to increase the supply of seeds and plants derived from wild, local, and ecotypic populations. Let’s create thriving biodiverse landscapes and corridors in Rhode Island.
These species are now in foundation plots on the land of our partners. We await the first round of harvesting seeds from these plants in 2024 and then their entrance into our landscapes!
