On Wednesday, February 21, 2024 from 2:00 to 3:30 pm, join Dana Millar, owner of Dana Designs, at Beechwood Center, 44 Beach Street, North Kingston.
Organically grown turf is not only stronger, but also more resistant to environmental stressors. Dana’s approach is to work harmonious with nature, using a bottom-up approach to lawn care through building nutrients in the soil. He believes that organic lawn care is based on the premise that healthy turf grass requires healthy soil, education and knowledge of the environmental factors and cultural practices that affect your lawn. Building resilience in your lawn should focus on soil health rather than applying chemicals to the grass.
For this lecture, Dana will discuss his approach to organic lawn care and landscaping, including minimizing the use of chemicals and water, to create a sustainable home landscape.
Dana Designs, founded in 2007, is an organically focused landscaping business in the Chariho Area.
