Wild Garden Party – On Making Seed Starter Kits

Our October Wild Garden Party centered on seed collection. This month let’s talk about how to get them into the ‘dirt’.  Let’s plan for a get together to make seed starting kits for ourselves, and others.  We will come up with a list of things needed based on the “clam shell” method. If you have experience growing native plants from seeds please join the call to share your knowledge. If you are new to the miracle of germination please join too to learn and discuss. This will be a zoom meeting.   Link to the zoom meeting.

At the December 4 Wild Garden Party at 1 pm we will put together seed starter kits at the home of Sally Johnson in Riverside, RI. Bring your salad containers, responsibly collected native seeds, extra plug trays, and lunch bags.  We will supply other materials as needed (based on discussion on November 9). It may be cold so we may work inside. Please wear a mask if you are not vaccinated.

Space is limited and registration is required for this December Garden Party.
Directions to Sally’s house will be sent out to those who register a few days December 4.
